Having up-to-date information about which team or organization a player belongs to is vital to the successful operation of graph tracker.   It depends upon this information to manage your wishlists.   If you want to know which cards/items to pull for a particular team then you rely upon graph tracker to know which players, coaches, broadcasters, etc. are affiliated with that team.   Players change teams all the time.  Trades, free agency, etc., it's all part of the game.  Transactions are frequent.   Fortunately, for baseball, the process of managing the relationship between players and teams (aka 'affiliations') has been automated. Other sports are not automated.   That's where you come in.   graph tracker relies upon a few of its authorized members (Data Custodians) to monitor transactions as they occur and update affiliations, add new players as they show up and change the status of players as they retire or die.
